7. Legacy frame with common frame Take-up roller:
a. If this is a common frame take-up roller installed on a legacy frame weldment
configuration, then make sure that the roller is centered between the inside of
the left and right frame rails. Note that on legacy frame weldment con-
figurations, the belt tension holds the common frame take-up roller in position.
8. Center and square the belt between the Drive and Take-up rollers.
A properly centered belt does not mean that the belt is perfectly centered on the deck
and rollers. It is a belt that tracks steady and does not touch or rub the landing trim or
any other frame or hardware parts. Always attempt to position the belt as close as pos-
sible to the center of the deck and rollers.
