COACH EXTERIOR
SPARE WHEEL COMPARTMENT
The front bumper must be tilted downward to
provide access to the spare wheel, housed in
the compartment behind the bumper. Using the
wrench stowed in the first baggage bay, loosen
the two screws about ten turns. Push the
screws upwards then tilt down the bumper.

FRONT BUMPER 18307
The bumper opens partially, because it is
retained by a safety chain. To fully lower the
bumper, unhook the chain from its middle
section and allow the bumper to recline
completely.
When closing the bumper, be sure to hook the
safety chain and tighten the two screws.
Warning: Although powerful springs take most
of the weight off the bumper, it is recommended
to ask the help of another person while reclining
the bumper.
Warning: The compartment behind the bumper
is not designed for miscellaneous storage.
Never store loose objects in this compartment
because they can interfere with the steering
linkage mechanism.
