5.3.1.4 interface vlan
This command is used to create a vlan interface and enter Interface-vlan configuration mode.
Syntax
interface vlan <vlan-id>
<vlan-id> - VLAN ID (Range: 1 - 4093).
Default Setting
None

5.3.1.5 ip address
This command sets the IP Address, and subnet mask. The IP Address and the gateway must be on the
same subnet.
Syntax
ip address <ipaddr> <netmask>
no ip address
<ipaddr> - IP address
<netmask> - Subnet Mask
no - Restore the default IP address and Subnet Mask
Default Setting
IP address: 0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask: 0.0.0.0

Once the IP address is set, the VLAN ID’s value will be assigned to management VLAN.
