2-3 Starng and Controls
Before start-up the following checks must be carrying done by the assigned operator:
➢ Check if all the control levers are in the neutral posion
➢ Make sure that the emergency buon is operaonal. To reacvate rotate a lile clockwise
➢ Check the hydraulic oil level in the relave tank and in the reducers, is as described in the
maintenance chapter of this manual;
➢ Check if the hydraulic tubes are connected in a safe way and that they don’t have
bolenecks
➢ Clean the tracks of any soil and stones.
Note: If the machine is starng aer one or more days of not being used (inacvaon) it is
necessary to consult the maintenance programs and follow up on all the instrucons, before
starng up the machine. This should be done if the machine has not been operang for a long
me.
We strongly recommend preparing a pre-start-up checklist See Appendix E which forms part of
this document.

The operator should lower the protecon screen (oponal), to have access to the starter frame,
placed on the basis level as shown in the gure 6. The main purpose of the protecon screen is
to protect the operator on standing posion by the control panel when machine is moving.
