7.3 Sampling Pump
When approaching the end of the specified lifetime of the
pump, it will consume higher amount of energy and reduce
its sample draw capability significantly. When this occurs,
it is necessary to replace or rebuild the pump. When
checking the pump flow, make sure that the inlet connector
is tight and the inlet tubing is in good condition. Connect a
flow meter to the gas inlet probe. The flow rate should be
above 450 cc/min when there is no air leakage.
