4.7.12 Change DAC Range?
There are four different DAC (Digital-to-Analog
Conversion) range values available in the MiniRAE 2000:
20, 200, 2000 and 10K ppm. The maximum 2.5V DC
analog signal output from the unit will represent the range
value chosen. (See Figure 8-1 Communication/Alarm
Connector for analog signal output connection.)
1. “Change DAC Range?” is the twelfth sub-menu item in
the Monitor Setup menu.
2. Press the [Y/+] key, the display shows the current DAC
Range value: “DAC Range = 2000 ppm?”
3. Press the [Y/+] key to accept the currently displayed
value. Press [N/-] to scroll through the sub-menu for
other range values. Press [MODE] to exit this sub-
menu and return to the first sub-menu in Table 4.7.
4. If there is any change to the existing selection, press the
[Y/+] key and the display will show “Save?” Press the
[Y/+] key to save the change or press the [N/-] key to
discard and return to the first sub-menu in Table 4.7.
