Injection Pump Rinse
Daily after use/
when switching
chemicals
1. Fill the chemical tank with water or another rinse agent, or
use the pump tank inlet valve to select a separate rinse tank
source (if present).
2. In Hawkeye Manual mode, set a pump and nozzle PWM
of approximately 50%. Set the injection pump rate to around
30-50 oz/acre.
3. With the injection pump set to ON, enter a self test speed.
4. Verify you are in a good location to spray the chemical
from the injection pump and carrier lines.
5. Turn on the product pump, and turn on at least one boom
section and the master spray switch. The injection pump
should begin to draw rinse fluid into the pump and pump it
into the carrier line. Continue spraying for approximately 30
- 60 seconds or until all of the chemical has been flushed
from the system.
6. Turn Off the master switch and product pump. Verify the
valve positions are set for the next application.

1. With the system power on, ensure all Hawkeye NCV LEDs
are flashing. If not, check the cable connections to the NCV’s
and the fuses in the fuse block located near the boom on
the chassis cable harness.
2. Verify the boom cables are securely fastened to the boom
and are not hanging below the lower boom tube.
3. Inspect each NCV for damage and proper installation on
the nozzle bodies.
4. Verify that the Hawkeye CANbus terminators (located on
the boom cables on each boom tip) are present and
securely tied to the boom cables.

1. Turn off the Hawkeye system and product pump.
2. Bleed any remaining pressure from the boom system.
3. Perform the Nozzle Control Valve maintenance
procedure(page 97).
