2.2 Engineering Tools
For using the MEP extension card, an engineering connection from laptop / PC
to the EFC series frequency converter is necessary. Such a connection can be
established with using following methods:
● Via Ethernet using IndraWorks. In this case, the MEP can be browsed and the
IP address can be set.
● Via USB using ConverterWorks or IndraWorks. Plug the cable and connect.
The figure below shows an overview of ConverterWorks.
