6.6.3 DEVELOPER MIXING
The toner is supplied from the hopper [A]. Two mixing coils [B and C] move the
developer forward and backward to mix the developer.
Mixing occurs at the following times:
• Immediately after a new PCU is installed.
• During the process control self check
• During toner supply
• During development.
• Every 36 hours (can be changed with SP 3554 003)
• If absolute humidity changes more than ± 6 g/m
3
(e.g. 23°C/ 50% ¤ 27°C/ 70%).
The humidity threshold can be changed with SP 3554 004.
