Setting of the VM-55 when using the RS-232C
When using RS-232C, set the communication interface for the VM-55 following
the steps below.
1. Press the MENU/ENTER key to bring up the menu list screen.
2. Use the
keys to select [Display / I/O] and press the
MENU/ENTER key. The display / I/O screen appears.
3. Use the
keys to select [Communication Interface] and press
the MENU/ENTER key. The communication control function screen
appears.
4. Use the
keys to select [RS-232C] and press the MENU/ENTER
key.
5. Select the [Baud rate] on the display / I/O screen and press the MENU/
ENTER key. The baud rate screen appears.
6. Use the
keys to select baud rate (9600bps, 19200bps, 38400bps,
57600bps, 115200bps) and press the MENU/ENTER key.
7. Select the [Flow control] on the display / I/O screen and press the
MENU/ENTER key. The  ow control screen appears.
8. Use the
keys to select  ow control (OFF, HARD, SOFT) and
press the MENU/ENTER key.
9. Press the START/STOP key to return to the measurement screen.
