Warning
l
Air supply must be dry and filtered according to ISO 8573-1 class 3.4.3.
l
Air supply pressure should optimally be set between 5.5 bar and 7 bar (80 psi and 100 psi) with an optimal pressure set
at 7 bar (100 psi).
l
The tubing should be properly secured before pressurizing the Screwdriver.
l
The tubing should not be pressurized before removing the air supply from the Screwdriver.
l
Never operate the Screwdriver with leaking or worn tubing.
l
The Screwdriver needs to be properly secured before operating the robot.
l
Do not install or operate a Robotiq Screwdriver or Screw Feeder that is damaged or lacking parts.
l
Never supply the Screwdriver with an alternative current source.
l
Make sure all cord setsare always secured at both ends, the Screwdriver’s and the robots.
l
Alwaysmeet the recommended keying for electrical connections.
l
Make sure no one isin the robots or Screwdriver’s vicinity before initializing the robot's routine.
l
Keep body parts and garments away from the Screwdriver while the device is powered on.
l
Do not use the Screwdriver on people or animals.
The Robotiq Screwdriver has to be equipped with either one of the 79 dB or 85 dB mufflers.
Given the noise levelsgenerated by the mufflers, please enforce the appropriate workplace, local, state or federal regulations in
terms of hearing PPE.

The 85 dB muffler isinstalled by default on the Screwdriver.
Tip
For environments requiring the limitation of noise levels, consider installing the 79dB muffler onto the Robotiq
Screwdriver.
