11.Warranty
Robotiq warrants the Screwdriver and Screw Feeder against defectsin material and workmanship for a period of one year from the
date of reception when utilized as intended. Robotiq also warrantsthat thisequipment will meet applicable specificationsunder
normal use.
Warning
Warranty applies under the following conditions:
l
Usage respects the operating and storage conditionsspecified in the Environmental and Operating Conditionssection.
l
Proper installation of the Screwdriver and Screw Feeder specified in the Installation section and the following
subsections.
l
Until one of these conditionsisreached:
o
1 year
o
2 000 000 cycle counts

l
Usage respects maintenance specified in the Maintenance section.
l
Usage respects recommended torque and force valuesspecified in the Mechanical Specificationssection.

For the Robotiq Screwdriver, one (1) cycle count isdefined asthe completion of a screwdriving operation or the detection of an
error (starts when requesting a screwdriving action, and ends whether when the success condition ismet or when an error occurs.
Each cycle count isaccounted for in the internal memory of the Screwdriver.
For the Robotiq Screw Feeder, one (1)cycle count isaccounted for each time a screw isdetected by the screw detection sensor (at
screw detection position) and leaves the screw detection position.
During the warranty period, Robotiq will repair or replace any defective Screwdriver or Screw Feeder, aswell as verify and adjust
the Screwdriver or the Screw Feeder free of charge if the equipment should need to be repaired or if the original adjustment is
erroneous. If the equipment issent back for verification during the warranty period and found to meet all pertaining specifications,
Robotiq will charge standard verification fees.
The unit isconsidered defective when at least one of the following conditions occurs:
l
The Screwdriver or Screw Feeder feedback necessary for the robot program isnot accessible.
l
Wear of the Screwdriver or Screw Feeder components due to direct contact with the workpiece or obstaclesisnot covered by the
warranty.
Caution
The warranty will become null and void if the :
l
Unit hasbeen tampered with, repaired or worked on by unauthorized individuals.
l
Screws, other than asexplained in thisguide, have been removed.
l
Unit hasbeen opened other than asexplained in thisguide.
l
Unit serial number hasbeen altered, erased, or removed.
l
Unit hasbeen misused, neglected, or damaged by accident.
