Screw the coupler adjuster and coupler locking nut back on. Please refer to the Vacuum Coupler Adjustment
section to adjust the bit holder assembly in order to ensure proper screw detection.
5. Attach the vacuum sleeve to the coupler.

Please refer to the Screwdriver Vacuum Sleeve Selection section to select the vacuum sleeve that corresponds to the
screwsand screwdriving bit that will be used in the framework of your application.

Install the vacuum sleeve onto the coupler.

Should the user need to replace or change the muffler, simply unscrew the muffler by hand.
Screw the replacement or new muffler back on.
3.4.2.Robotiq Screw Feeder
Below are the stepsto mount the Robotiq Screw Feeder

Place the Screw Feeder on a flat work surface.

Make sure the device stands on itsshoes (rounded rubber pads)on the work surface.

Make sure the device islevel, horizontally.
l
Make the provided mounting bracketsclose in on both sides of the Screw Feeder to secure its position.

Should you decide to fasten the mounting brackets to the work surface (e.g., T-slot extrusions), preferably use 5/16 inch
or M8-diameter fasteners to secure the Feeder onto the work surface. The use of washersisoptional, but
recommended.
3.5.Electrical Setup
3.5.1.Electrostatic Discharge Safety
The Robotiq Screwdriver is ESD safe. If installed properly using the toothed lock washers, the casing and internal mechanism are
grounded through the screws used to mount the screwdriver on the coupling. The same istrue for the coupling.
The Robotiq Screw Feeder is ESD safe. If installed properly with the earth cable related to the controller, the casing and internal
mechanism internal mechanism are grounded through the protective earth cable.
