Open the front cover.
Align the end of the sheet media with the location shown in the gure.
Pull back the loading lever.
The sheet media is secured in place.
If you're performing printing, attach the media clamps.
However, if the thickness of the sheet media is 0.5 millimeters or more, leave the media clamps
unattached. Otherwise the print heads may strike the media clamps, resulting in malfunction
or other problems.
