Preparing an SD Card
The R-26 stores recorded data on the SD
card.
Inserting an SD Card
1. Make sure that the power is o.
2. Open the SD card cover located on
the left side of the R-26.
* The cover may break if you use excessive
force.
3. Insert the SD card.
Position the SD card with its top side facing
the same way as the R-26’s top side, and
carefully insert it.
Label facing

NOTE
Forcibly inserting the SD card in the
wrong orientation may damage the
R-26 or the SD card. Please use caution.
Press the SD card rmly all the way in.
4. Close the SD cover.
5. Switch on the power (p. 24).
MEMO
If an unformatted SD card is inserted
in the R-26, the screen will indicate “SD
Unformatted.
Removing an SD card
1. Switch o the R-26’s power (p. 24).
2. Open the SD cover.
3. Gently press the SD card inward, and
then release your nger.
When the SD card pops out, remove it.
NOTE
Do not insert or remove an SD card while
the power is on. The data on the SD card
may be lost if you do so.
