3.15) Pushrods
See Fig. 72-98.
Clean push-rods (1) and carry out a visual inspection. Make sure that the two
ball heads (2) pressed into the rod fit tightly. Excessive engine speed may have
caused bending of the pushrods. Roll push-rods and check for run out,
dimension (VT09). Lube oil from the hydraulic valve tappet passes to the rocker
arm through the bore (3).
