Turn off the projector, and unplug theAC power cord
fromtheACoutlet.
Turntheprojectoroverandremovethefilters.

Filterpreventsdustfromaccumulatingontheopticalelementsinsidetheprojector.Shouldthefiltersbecome
cloggedwithdustparticles,itwillreducecoolingfans’effectivenessandmayresultininternalheatbuildup
andadverselyaffectthelifeoftheprojector.Ifa“Filterwarning”iconappearsonthescreen,cleanthefilters
immediately.Cleanthefiltersbyfollowingthestepsbelow.
Cleanthefilterssoftlybyusingabrush.

Replacethefiltersproperly.Makesurethatthefilters
arefullyinsertedtotheprojector.

Donotoperatetheprojectorwiththefilters
removed.Dustmayaccumulateontheoptical
elementsdegradingpicturequality.
Donotputanythingintotheairvents.Doingso
mayresultinmalfunctionoftheprojector.
RECOMMENDATION
We recommend avoiding dusty/smoky environments
when you operate the projector. Usage in these
environments may cause poor image quality.
Whenusingtheprojectorunderdustyorsmokyconditions,
dustmayaccumulateonalens,LCDpanels,oroptical
elementsinsidetheprojectordegradingthequalityofa
projectedimage.Whenthesymptomsabovearenoticed,
contactyourauthorizeddealerorservicestationforproper
cleaning.

filter,besurethatthe
slitpartisfacingthe
outerside.
BesuretoresettheFiltercounteraftercleaningorreplacing
thefilters.
