Function
The halogen lamps are common to both the 4000 and 5000 models and
are the source of light when scanning originals.
Light from the transmission lamp is transmitted through a fibre optics
cable to the light tube.
Light from the reflection lamp is transmitted through a fibre optics cab-
le to the sensor module.
