5.5.3.1 General information on test programs
Test programs are generated with the buttons Edit , Insert and Copy .
If you activate the button Edit in a free field of the test program, the list of possible test methods will be
indicated. From this list, you can now select the desired test method. After the test method has been
selected with the arrow buttons, it is selected via the Enter button. Now, the test step can be defined. This
is done by activating the + button, when the cursor is in the field Definition. After the definition has been
entered, you can exit the input menu via the Enter button. Now, the set or limit values can be adapted. For
more details, please refer to the explanations of the individual test methods. The selection of test methods
can be left via the ESC button. If Edit is pressed while the cursor is on a test method, the test method
can be edited.
If a test method needs to be repeated, e.g. the PE test, the test step can be stored into the buffer store via
the button Copy . With Insert the test step is inserted at the point, where the cursor is. With the button
Delete the test step marked by the cursor is deleted. With the button Move , a test step can be moved to
the desired point within the process.
The button Print serves to print out the complete test program.
The test program can be shown in 3 different ways:
1. display by definition (standard)
2. display by connections
3. display by set values
With the GLP2-i/e it is possible, to program up to 5 fixed set value sets in addition to freely programmable
limit values and testing parameters within the test program. For this purpose, the menus of the individual
test methods have the fields 1 to 5 . In the selection of the set value set, the freely programmable test
step is marked by an x . If you activate the buttons, the display of the respective set value set changes.
The active set has a black background.

5.5.3.2 PE / ISO special test
With the GLP2-i/e it is possible to perform the PE test and the insulation test via the test probe. This menu
point allows to perform both tests under one test step. The order of the ISO or PE test totally free (chaotic
measuring). The respective limit value is adjusted at the probe, which needs to have a special design.
