Data error......
If the tester gives out the error message “Data error” when the device is switched on, a parameter is within
an invalid range. The parameter will also be indicated.
There are critical and non-critical parameters. The non-critical parameters are automatically set to a default
value. When the device is switched on the next time, this data error will no longer appear. If there is a
critical data error, the testing device is disabled and no further testing is possible. Please contact the
manufacturer of the testing device.
Data error. The testing device has been disabled, because accurate testing is no longer
guaranteed.
This error message appears if a critical data error has occurred and the test is being started. Please contact
the manufacturer of the testing device.
Repeat if no go
This message appears, if “Repeat if no go” has been entered in a test step and a test has been faulty. This
test can now be repeated.
Please disconnect all leads from the testing device! Continue with start switch or foot switch
This message appears before a manual high-voltage test with test pistols. All connections for performing
other tests must now be removed from the test object. Otherwise, the high-voltage could be led into the
testing device via these connections, which could destroy the device.
Attention, thermo switch has opened
This message appears when the thermo switch of the high-voltage test has opened. The thermo switch is at
the front panel of the testing device and can be switched on again by pressing it.
Below minimum voltage please start
In the test program of a high-voltage test, a minimum voltage is entered. In the present test, this minimum
voltage has been fallen below. By continuously pressing the green start button (Hipot Start), the high
voltage can be readjusted.
Over maximum voltage please start
In the test program of a high-voltage test, a maximum voltage is entered. In the present test, this
minimum voltage has been exceeded. By continuously pressing the green start button (Hipot Start), the
high voltage can be readjusted.
Below minimum current please start
In the test program of a high-voltage test, it is possible to enter a minimum current. If this minimum
current is not exceeded during a high-voltage test, the above error message will appear. If no current flows
through the test object during the high-voltage test, the minimum current in the test step must be set to 0.
If the test object usually has a leakage current, there could be a contacting problem in this case.
Over maximum current (disruptive breakdown) please start
The maximum current of the high-voltage test has been exceeded. The test is “no go”.
Password not repeated correctly
If a password is changed, it needs to be entered twice. This is supposed to avoid typing mistakes, because
the characters of the password are not visible when they are entered. This error message will appear when
the second input of the password differs from the first input. The old password is kept. Please repeat the
procedure.
Wrong password
Incorrect password – please try again.
