Start HV pistol (only for devices with high voltage)
The test can be started via a switch inside the HV test pistol.
Contin. function
This field determines the function of the built-in continuity test. In addition to the start button at the front,
or the start button in the probe, the test can also be started the following ways:
Start:PE-touch = Starts the test process by touching the test object at the PE test point with
the PE probe.
Start:LN-contin. = Starts the test process by detecting a continuity between L and N
(a test object is connected and switched on)
Only cont.buzzer = In the waiting mode (waiting for a start), a
continuity test between L and N is performed. If the resistance is below 500
Ohms, the buzzer sounds. This function is intended for measuring external
connections.
no go buzzer
Indicates, whether the device is to give out an acoustical signal in case of a faulty test process.
FCT with +-(%) tol. (only for devices with function test)
At the function test, the +/-(%) tolerance related to the set value is equal. If this function is switched on,
the upper and the lower tolerance(%) can be entered separately.
Voltage control (only for devices with automatic voltage control)
If the testing device is equipped with an automatic voltage control for the function test or the leakage
current test, you can select here, how the voltage is to be adjusted.
once: The voltage is adjusted once upon starting the test.
continuous: The voltage is continuously readjusted for the duration of the complete test.
Offset PE-test (only for devices with PE test)
Here you can enter a line resistance (contact resistance), which will be deducted from the measured value
upon every PE test. In the test table, the actual value is indicated as k (for corrected).
Repeat if no go
Here you can enter the number of repetitions after a faulty test.
This is a global setting and is inserted into a test step upon its generation. After this, the number of
repetitions in case of no go can be changed in this test step.
Shrt.circ.resis.
Before every function or warm leakage-current test, a short-circuit test is performed between L and N.
Here, the minimum allowed resistance is entered. If the entered value is zero, the short-circuit test is
switched off.
VIS switch for go
Here you can select, which switch is to be used for confirming the visual test with >go<.
VIS switch for no go
Here you can select, which switch is to be used for confirming the visual test with >no go<.
