10.8 RSͲ485Settings
Purpose:
The RSͲ485 serial port is used to control the PTZ of the camera. The configuring of
thePTZparametersshouldbedonebeforeyoucontrolthePTZunit.
Steps:
1. EnterRSͲ485parametersettinginterface:
Configuration>AdvancedConfiguration>System>RS485


2. SettheRSͲ485parametersandclick  tosavethesettings.
Bydefault,theBaudRateissetas9600bps,theDataBitis8,thestopbitis1and
theParityandFlowControlisNone.
Note:The BaudRate,PTZ ProtocolandPTZ Addressparameters of thespeeddome
shouldbeexactlythesameasthoseoftheremotecontroldevice.

