40 Driving Safety
Situations where the airbag may not deploy
In many types of accidents, such as rear-end collisions,
side collisions, oblique collisions, rollover accidents, etc.,
the safety airbags may not deploy.

product
When rear-ended, the safety airbags may not deploy.
In the event of a side collision, due to the impact
angle, the longitudinal acceleration may not meet the
triggering conditions of the safety airbag sensor, and
the safety airbags may not deploy.
When two vehicles with relatively low relative
velocities collide from behind, if the deceleration does
not meet the triggering conditions of the safety airbag
sensor, the safety airbags may not deploy.
In the case of a collision with a container truck or
going under a larger vehicle, if the collision force
does not reach the triggering conditions of the safety
airbag sensor, the safety airbags may not deploy.
In the event of a collision with a column-shaped
object, trees, or entering a soft object (such as a
snowdrift, shrubbery, etc.), if the collision force does
not meet the triggering conditions of the safety airbag
sensor, the safety airbags may not deploy.
Conditions for Deployment of Safety Airbags
In frontal or side collisions or rollover accidents, the safety
airbags may deploy.
Warning
If the safety airbags deploy:
The safety airbag system can only provide
protection for one accident; if the safety airbags
have deployed, the components of the safety
airbag system must be replaced.
After the safety airbags deploy, do not drive the
vehicle. Please contact the dealer immediately to
replace the vehicle's safety airbag components.
After any collision, the vehicle should be inspected
by the dealer to check for damage to the safety
airbags and the installation area.
Effects of Safety Airbag Deployment
The safety airbag system only operates when the vehicle
is started. In the event of a severe collision, the safety
airbag system, along with the Front and Rear Seats belt,
works to protect the occupants, reducing the severity of
injuries and risks.
Frontal Safety Airbag
The driver's frontal safety airbag is installed in the center of
the steering wheel, and the passenger-side frontal safety
airbag is installed above the glove box, marked with
"AIRBAG" on the instrument panel. In the event of a
severe impact, the frontal safety airbags protect the head
and chest of the driver and front-seat passenger.
