Carefully insert the new system plug into the safety laser scanner.

7. Reconnect the connecting cables to the system plug.
8. Configure the safety laser scanner, see "Configuration", page 88.
9. Perform commissioning again, taking particular care to conduct all of the thorough
checks described, see "Commissioning", page 139.
Complementary information
If y
ou reuse a used system plug, then you must completely reset the device to the
factory settings after mounting the system plug before reconfiguring it. This is especially
true if the system plug was previously used on another device that has a different
interface for integrating it into the controller.
10.6 Regular thorough check
The thorough check is intended to ensure that the safety functions are fulfilling their
planned pur
pose and whether persons are being adequately protected.
Carry out the checks specified in the test plan of the manufacturer of the machine
and the operating entity.
