3.4 Additional functions

• If the VMS4200/5200 multi-dimensional measurement system (Multicontroller)
is operated as part of a complete system with a reading station (see chapter
3.2.5 Expanding the system with a reading station), the contour data can be
used as the basis for dynamic camera focusing.
• For this purpose, the controller supplies continuous information about the distance
of the 2D LiDAR sensor to the object surface via the CAN bus.
