Cleaning the large water pump (LWP) filter
Materials required:
• Small brush
• Deionized water
Time: 20 minutes
Analyzer mode: OFF
BIOHAZARD
Wear personal protective equipment.
Use universal precautions.
NOTE:
This filter removes dust and foreign matter from the water circulation system.
This water is used to clean the probes, mixers, and cuvettes
.
CAUTION
Turn the analyzer OFF while cleaning the LWP filter.
1. At the Operation Panel, select
System(s), then select Exit.
2. When the Startup window opens, switch the analyzer to
OFF.
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 2 screws (
2) from metal bracket securing
the water filter.

IMPORTANT
Be sure to label the right and left sides of the LWP filter before removing it.
4. Gently pull the filter toward you to gain access to the attached, blue inlet and outlet
tubes.
