Type 1 CLSI/CAP
or ISO 3696 water.
At a minimum, the water supply must meet the following parameters to
ensure proper operation, as per the Site Survey for each ADVIA
Chemistry system:
Resistivity > 10.0 Megaohm-cm @ 25°C
Bacteria < 10 cfu/mL
Silica < 0.05 mg/L
Total Organic Carbon < 200 µg/L
Total Dissolved Solids < 1.0 mg/L
In addition, the following specifications should be met to ensure proper
operation:
Temperature of water entering the system is between 10°C and 30°C
Dissolved Oxygen ≤ 7.0 mg/L
Direct plumbing deionized water pressure: 9.6 - 96 kPa (1.4 - 14.2 psi)
Drain requirements
Minimum of 40 liters (10.6 gallons) per hour
If the local laboratory practices and/or applicable environmental
regulations prohibit the inclusion of concentrated waste into the
laboratory's drain, an optional concentrated waste bottle must be ordered.
Transportation and Storage
