Notes on security
HiPath Hotel Entry complies with the relevant ap-
proval and safety regulations. All instruments fulfill
the requirements contained in EU guideline 89/
336/EWG and bear the CE symbol.
All sections which can only be opened with the aid
of tools are maintenance areas. If such a section is
opened or repair work undertaken without proper
authorization, the user may be exposed to physical
danger.
Install the lines so that no one will step on them or
trip over them.
Never insert any objects into the openings in the
equipment.
Make sure that no liquids enter the interior of the
telephone set, as this can cause electric shocks or
short-circuits.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for indirect
damage, e. g. charges incurred for a connection
which was not properly cleared down.
Lines must never be connected or disconnected
during thunderstorms.
