The Recovery DVD is included in the scope of delivery when you have ordered a device with
operating system. The DVD contains an image file with the following software:
● The installation program for installing the operating system with the supported languages
● The tools for setting up the drives
The basic language of the installed operating system is English. If additional languages are
required, install these from the recovery DVD.
"Documentation and Drivers" DVD
The "Documentation and Drivers" DVD contains the documentation and the hardware
drivers.
The restore DVD is included in the scope of delivery when you have ordered a device with
operating system. The restore DVD includes:
Operating system with installed hardware drivers
Restoring the delivery state
You can restore the original factory software using the Restore DVD. The DVD contains the
necessary images and tools for transferring the factory software to the drive of your device.
Restoration of the entire driver C: (system) and D: or only drive C: is possible. This allows
you to retain any user data on drive D:.
Retrieving authorization or license
● Check whether you can retrieve your authorization or license key from the disk and
perform this procedure if possible.
● If backup is not possible, please contact Customer Support. There you can obtain
information necessary for software authorization.
● You need the Restore DVD for the operating system you want to install. It is included in
the product package.
● You need to connect a mouse and a keyboard to your PC.
● You also need an USB DVD drive to your PC.
1. Insert the Restore DVD into the USB DVD drive.
2. Reboot the device.
3. Press the
key and set USB CD/DVD as the priority 1 in the boot menu.
4. Reboot the device.
5. Click
to enter the start the restoration.
