Note
Independence of derating factors
For water cooling, the derating fac
tors are independent of the installation altitude.
The ambient conditions change with increasing installation altitude. As a consequence,
ensure that the required cooling water inlet temperature is available for the cooling
system.
Cooling powers to be dissipated and the cooling flow rate
The values specified in the table "Cooling power to be dissipated" refer to a cooling-water
temperature of +30 °C and S1 duty.
The cooling power to be dissipated specified in the table refers to the highest power loss to
be dissipated for the particular shaft height for a maximum temperature difference between
cooling water intake/cooling water discharge of 10 K.
