5.4.5 No bearings at the DE
Option "No DE bearings" is designated with a "3" at the 16th position of the article number.

Properties
Stiff rotor and stator mounting for the "hollow shaft" and "plug-on shaft" versions
Only a few mounting components are required
Provides the possibility of mounting bearing modules to absorb increased process forces
Not available for solid shaft versions (15th position in the Article No.: "H" and "M")
Note
Avoid any radial overdetermination of the remaining bearing at the NDE; this must be
verified by making the appropriate calculation.
Comply with the mounting conditions, see dimension drawing 609.30284.01, no DE
bearings.
Limit the axial temperature expansion of the machine shaft as specified in dimension
drawing 609.30284.01, DE without bearings
Dimension drawing 609.30284.01, DE without bearings refers to the mounted state.
Dimension "L" in the dimension drawing can be higher at a motor when originally shipped
The motor shaft creates a radial force as a result of this bearing type.
Take into account the radial force in the customer's machine design, see the following
table.
Only operate the motor when it is mounted.
