7.2 Inverter control

status
Explanation
S1 In this state, the converter does not respond to the ON command. The converter goes
into this state under the following conditions:
ON was active when switching on the converter.
Exception: When the automatic start function is active, ON must be active after
switching on the power supply.
OFF2 or OFF3 is selected.
S2
This state is required to switch on the motor.
S3
The converter waits for the operating enable.
S4 The motor is switched on.
S51 The motor was switched off with OFF1 and brakes with the ramp-down time of the ramp-
function generator.
S52 The motor was switched off with OFF3 and brakes with the OFF3 ramp-down time, or at
the current limit.

Running the motor in jog mode (JOG function)
The "Jog" function is typically used to slowly move a machine part, e.g. a conveyor belt.
With the "Jog" function, you switch the motor on and off using a digital input. When the motor
is switched on, it accelerates to the jogging setpoint. There are two different setpoints
available, e.g. for motor counter-clockwise rotation and clockwise rotation.
The same ramp-function generator acts on the setpoint as for the ON/OFF1 command.
