To start the counter variable, assign the value
$AC_TIMER[n]=<starting value>
To stop the counter variable, assign a negative value:
$AC_TIMER[n]=–1
The current time value can be read when the timer is running or
when it has stopped. When the timer is stopped by assigning the
value –1, the most up-to-date timer value is retained and can be read.
The dimension is defined in MD $MC_MM_NUM_AC_TIMER.
