Siemens SITRANS SCM IQ - Installing SITRANS MS200 on a Pump or Compressor

In all cases a strong and form-󹪝tting mount for good vibrations transmission is required.
Note
For temporary mountings (e.g. testing purposes) you can also use a strong magnet or an
industry graded glue to mount SITRANS MS200.
Note
Mount SITRANS MS200 so that the lid can be easily removed in the mounted state for a
later battery pack replacement (Page52).

In󹪞uences on data transmission
The positioning of the sensors and the gateway as well as the environmental conditions
in󹪞uence the data transmission between SITRANS MS200 and SITRANS CC220. In case of an
unfavorable constellation, transmission losses may occur.
3.2.3 Installing SITRANS MS200 on a pump or compressor
Mount SITRANS MS200 near the liquid inlet directly on the pump.
Note
SITRANS MS200 must not get in direct contact with chemicals.
NOTICE
Maximum speci󹪝ed ambient temperature
The maximum speci󹪝ed ambient temperature must not be exceeded by the pump or
compressor. See Technical speci󹪝cations SITRANS MS200 (Page65).
