6.3.2.3 Zones Screen
Use this screen to select options for zones. If you are using templates as a way to simplify
zone programming and need information for creating them, see the 5580 Upload-Download
Software Installation and Operation Manual (P/N 150925).

Hardware
Point
A hardware point is a number that relates a system zone to its hardware location. Hardware
points are not assigned automatically, but a list of available hardware points displays
automatically on the programming screen. The installer must select a point for each zone
from the list of available hardware points that displays on the programming screen.
