4.20.2 Ground Start Relay Connection (Model 5211)
Figure 4-24 shows the position of the relay that is required if the ground start telephone net-
work is used.
Note: Ground start cannot be used in UL installations.

4.21 Built-in Relay
The 4821/4820 board provides contacts for one Normally Open relay rated at 2.5A at 24
VDC.
This relay can be used to activate a variety of devices and can be used in combination with
programmable I/O statements. See the I/O Application Programming section of this binder
(P/N 150913) for more information.
This relay is factory-programmed as the bell circuit.
