4.22 DACT Compliant Wiring
The following sections contain diagrams and information necessary for installations to com-
ply with UL 864 and NFPA 72 (Chapter 4) fire alarm systems for central station services.
4.22.1 Trouble Output Relay
A trouble output relay for each power supply, must be connected to a zone input on the 4821/
4820 Control Panel (see Figure 4-26). The “Zone Type” should be selected as Tamper and the
response characteristics as follows:
