TIMING CASE COVER
To Renew the Crankshaft Front Oil Seal
1. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
2. Carefully pull out the oil seal from the timing case
cover using a suitable drift.
3. Clean the timing case cover seal area.
4. Position the new seal in the timing case cover with
the lip of the seal towards the inside of the timing
case cover using seal replacer.
5. Press the new seal in position using a special tool
to ensure the seal is square in the bore of the cover.

6. Remove the special tool.
7. Fit the crankshaft pulley and tighten to torque.
