CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY
To Renew Cylinder Head Gasket
1. Disconnect the battery terminals.
2. Drain coolant from radiator and cylinder block.
3. Detach coolant hose connections from thermostat
housing on front of cylinder head.
4. Remove air cleaner and hose connection.
5. Disconnect the coolant hose from thermostat housing
to water pump.
6. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the engine exhaust
manifold.
7. Remove the cylinder head cover.(Fig.K.14 )
9. Remove the high pressure pipes from the FIP to
injector assembly.
Warning:- Cover the fuel pump delivery ports with suitable
protective caps.
10. Remove the push rods.
11. Remove the injector assembly (Use 24 mm tubular
spanner) (Fig.K.15 )
12. Remove the rocker shaft assembly. (Fig.K.16 )
