To Remove Timing Case Cover
Drain the lubricating oil from the sump.
Remove the fan, fan belt.
Remove the oil filler with breather assembly. (Fig.H.13)
NOTE: The oil pump is mounted inside the timing
case cover, care must be taken while removing /
refitting the timing case cover.
Remove the crankshaft pulley after loosening the securing
bolt. (Fig.H.14)
Loosen the setscrews and remove the sump. (Fig.H.15)
Loosen the screws fixing timing case cover to case and
remove the timing case cover. (Fig.H.16)
