SC213 Diesel Engines
CYLINDER HEAD REASSEMBLY
Note: Clean each part before assembly.
Apply engine oil to the sliding and rotating parts.
1. Install the valve spring seats.
2. Insert the valves into the valve guides
3. Fit the vale stem seal using special tool.(Fig.K.30 )
4. Place the valve spring.
5. Using the valve spring compressor, compress the
spring and install the retainer cotters.
Check the valve height with recpect to cylinder head
surface . (Spec.: ± 0.40 mm). (Fig.K.32 )
6. Place the cylinder head gasket and cylinder head
assembly.
7. Replace the push rods, rocker shaft assembly, and
tighten the securing setscrews.
8. Fit the injectors and high pressure pipes.
9. Set the valve tip clearance to 0.15 mm (0.006’’).
10. Fit the cylinder head cover, oil breather hose, air
inlet connection and exhaust pipe.
10. Start the engine and check for its performance.
