8. Fit lower halves of main bearings to bearing caps and
place in position ensuring that the thrust washers on
No. 2 main bearing cap are fitted correctly.(Fig.N.9)
9. Install and tighten the Main bearing cap bolts to the
torque: 170Nm (122 lbf.ft) (Fig.N.10)
Note: The cap bolts should be tightened evenly 4 to 5
increments before they are tightened to the specified
torque.
10. Ensure that the crankshaft turns freely.
11. Check the end play of the crankshaft.
End Float is 0.07/ 0.15 mm (0.003/ 0.006’’)
12. Using the special tool, install the rear end Lip type
oil seal.
13. Fit the other parts in reverce order.
