Enabling Windows File Sharing
OS X 10.4
1. From the System Preferences window, select the Sharing icon.
2. Select the Services tab.
3. Check the Windows Sharing checkbox.
If an Accounts button appears, you don't need to select it.
4. Close the System Preferences window.
5. Select Continue.
OS X 10.5
1. From the System Preferences window, select the Sharing folder.
2. Check the box next to File Sharing, and then click Options.
3. Check Share files and folders using SMB and ensure that your user account has
a check mark next to it.
Be sure the computer name is 15 characters or less, and that it does not have any
apostrophes, spaces, or special characters in the name.
