Renaming a ZonePlayer or ZoneBridge
If you name a ZonePlayer incorrectly, or if you move a ZonePlayer to another room,
you can rename it to suit your preference.
Using the Sonos Controller for Mac or PC
1. From the Zones menu, select ZonePlayer Settings. If you want to change a
ZoneBridge instead, select ZoneBridge Settings.
2. Select the zone you wish to change, and click Settings. From the Zone Name
tab, select a name from the list, or type a new name for this ZonePlayer in the
Zone Name field, and then click OK.
Using a Sonos Controller 200
1. From the Music Menu, touch Settings>ZonePlayer Settings. If you wish to
change the name of a ZoneBridge, select ZoneBridge Settings instead.
2. Touch to select the zone you wish to change.
3. Select ZonePlayer Name.
4. Choose one of the following options:
• Drag your finger to scroll the room list, and touch to select the one you want.
Or,
•Touch Enter New to type a unique name. Use the keyboard to enter a type the
name, and then touch OK.
Using the Sonos Controller for iPhone
1. From the Music menu, tap Settings>ZonePlayer Settings. If you wish to
change the name of a ZoneBridge, tap ZoneBridge Settings instead.
2. Tap to select the zone you wish to change.
3. Tap ZonePlayer Name.
4. Choose one of the following options:
• Drag your finger to scroll through the list. Highlight the name you want to se-
lect, and tap Done.
• If you’d like to create a unique room name, tap the current name field to dis-
