The common command sets the bits of the ESER (Event Status Enable
Register) used in the status and events reporting system of the waveform
generator. The query returns the contents of the ESER. Refer to Status
and Events for more information about the ESER.
If the power-on status flag is TRUE, the power-on default for the ESER will
reset all bits to zero. If this flag is set to FALSE, the ESER bits do not change
value during the power-on cycle.
