2 Using the HSA
2.1 Installation
For installation see PHOIBOS Manual (SPECS order number: 78 000 101).
2.1.1 Vacuum interlock
For operation of the HSA the vacuum interlock connector has either to be connected to
a pressure gauge or must be bridged temporarily with the supplied connector.
Bridging the vacuum interlock can cause great damage in case of sudden pressure rise.
Use at your own risk!
The pin setting of the connector is shown in figure 7. So to bridge the interlock the pins
1 and 2 have to be shortend.
