5.1.2 Beam Stop display on the instrument
The Beam Stop shields the source of radiation if the measurement is not active.
Therefore, the sample can be replaced when the X-ray tube is switched on. A
high-voltage generator (HV generator) is used to operate in the X-ray tube. The
displays on both sides of the spectrometer provide information about the
respective operating mode.
The following table illustrates the four display combinations that are possible:
