6.11 Troubleshooting
Notice! Damage to instrument!
Improper repairs may damage the instrument.
 Do not repair the instrument yourself. Contact your immediate supervisor.
Fault Cause Remedy
The spectrometer cannot
be switched on.
The power plug is not
inserted properly.
Insert the power plug properly.
The UPS (option) is not
connected to the power
supply.
Connect the UPS to the power
supply.
The UPS (option) is not
switched on.
Switch on the UPS.
The computer cannot be
switched on.
The power plug is not
inserted properly.
Insert the power plug properly.
The monitor cannot be
switched on.
The power plug is not
inserted properly.
Check if the power plug was
properly inserted.
The keyboard does not
react.
The keyboard is not
properly connected.
Check the keyboard connection
to the computer.
The keyboard is defective. Please contact your Service
Center.
The mouse does not
convert any entries.
The mouse is not properly
connected.
Check the mouse connection to
the computer.
The mouse is defective. Please contact your Service
Center.
When starting "XRF
Analyzer Pro", the
message error
"Connection failed" is
displayed.
