6.4 Clean the sample tray
To clean the sample tray, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the sample tree from the sample chamber, see page 38 and place
the sample tray on the level, clean surface.
2. Use a small brush to carefully clean the sample tray.
Do not apply any pressure to the sample support surface.
The sample tray is now cleaned.
6.5 Clean the sample chamber
Note
Any sample material left in the sample chamber must be removed immediately.
To do this, use a soft cloth. If the sample chamber floor is heavily soiled, it should
be cleaned with alcohol, e.g., isopropanol.
Notice! Risk of damage!
Improper cleaning procedures can destroy the beryllium window of the detector.
Never use a vacuum cleaner or compressed air to clean the sample chamber.
