Subsequently, the software will prompt you to close the sample chamber lid:
5.3.2 Checking the safety circuit on the filter changer ("Beam Stop")
Since an electric motor is used to move the assembly, the safety switches on the
Beam Stop are checked autonomously by the instrument's software. During this
procedure, the software displays an appropriate message:
After the safety test was completed successfully, the stepping motors that are
integrated into the spectrometer, are initialized.
